Spendalize Frequently Asked Questions
- Why can't I enter decimals?
-
By default, Spendalize only allows you to enter and view amounts rounded to the nearest
whole amount. This is to keep things looking clean and simple, and encourage you to
enter quick estimates of spending, which is better than entering nothing at all. If you
prefer to enter and see decimals, you can unhide them in the Settings screen.
- How do I delete records?
- Swipe towards the right on the record you want to delete, and
a delete button will appear.
- How do I restore a backup that is in my email?
- Open the email with the backup attached, and tap the attachment.
Select "Open in Spendalize", then press OK. Note: restoring a backup will delete any
data currently in Spendalize.
Scrollendar Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I sync with Google Calendar?
-
To use Scrollendar with Google Calendar, first you have to configure the
built-in calendar app to sync with Google Calendar, since Scrollendar uses the
same calendars as the built-in calendar. Once the built-in calendar has access
to Google Calendar, Scrollendar will be able to access it too.
To get your iPhone to sync it's calendars with Google Calendar, you use
something called Google Sync. Unfortunately, setting up Google Sync isn't
particularly straightforward. Here is a
guide
on how to do it from Google.
Scrollendar uses EventKit, which means it gets calendar data from the built-in
calendar app and not directly from Google. The advantage is it syncs perfectly
with the built-in calendar and any other calendar apps that use EventKit (most
do).
